Background
I am a mixed-medium artist without boundaries. Whenever I apply my creative skills to a new medium, I like to call it “Arting Around.” A California native (except for ten years on Kauai), I now live in San Diego, where I create my decorative art. My work often incorporates upcycled items art, showcasing my innovative approach to artistry. My artistic endeavors have earned me a gold medal and best-of-division acclaim at California State and Orange County Fairs.
Medium
I am a mixed-medium artist without borders, a creative thinker who sees potential in all things discarded. In my decorative art, I transform upcycled items like aluminum cans, wine bottle corks, wine bottles, paper, cardboard, wool, and seashells, which were once overlooked by their previous inhabitants.
Inspiration
I am a mixed-medium artist without rules. I draw my inspiration from the world around me, capturing the sights, sounds, and colors of the oceans, mountains, and deserts. I see potential in all things discarded, transforming upcycled items into unique decorative art.
